Before or immediately upon admission, it is essential that a Comprehensive Risk Assessment be completed. The Risk Assessment is an evidenced-based process that provides important risk information and leads to the development of an Individualized Program Plan.
Important risk factors that are targeted during services include: Atypical sexual thinking and responses, Adverse experience history (trauma), Antisocial or high-risk peer associations, Penchant toward aggression/violence, Atypical sexual and emotional arousal, Family engagement, and Mental health symptoms (e.g. depression, anxiety, trauma, conduct, ADHD, etc., among others)
